Move accommodates growth of dairy industry software company
May 1, 2009
Dairy.com, the dairy industry's leading provider of web-based supply chain, transportation, and commodity trading solutions, announced today that it will move its headquarters to Plano, Texas. According to Dairy.com, the move is prompted by increased demand for its online business solutions and related services.
The Company’s new location at 5465 Legacy Drive in Plano, Texas will accommodate current personnel and allow room for expansion to support ongoing growth. As Dairy.com nears its tenth year of providing software-as-a-service to the dairy industry, CEO Scott Sexton provides insight into the timing of the move.
"As our trading, transportation, and supply chain solutions continue to evolve, we’re attracting new customers who are looking to streamline their dairy operations and improve profitability," said Sexton. "The addition of new team members will help Dairy.com continue to develop innovative, web-based solutions and provide first-class support to our customer base."
The move will take place this summer in anticipation of several product releases due this fall, including a significant release that consolidates the Company’s supply chain management, transportation, and trading exchange solutions into an integrated technology platform.
