Privacy Practices
Dairy.com is committed to protecting the privacy of our Users. This privacy policy discloses the privacy practices governing the use of information submitted to Dairy.com through this Web site at http://www.dairy.com (including any sub-domains or affiliated sites, the “Site”). Capitalized terms shall have the meaning designated in Dairy.com’s standard User Agreement. Please be aware that our Site may contain links to other sites and that the privacy practices of these other sites may differ from those of Dairy.com. Each site is responsible for its own privacy practices. Any person accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Site, either manually or via an automated device or program, to the extent permitted hereunder, shall be considered a “User” or a “User Representative”, as applicable, under this privacy policy and shall be bound by the terms of this policy.
Information Collected
Dairy.com collects personally identifiable information from Users and User Representatives who view the Site such as E-mail addresses and IP addresses. Dairy.com also keeps track of pages visited by individual User Representatives. Additionally, as a User, you will be asked to complete a User Agreement and provide certain information including, for example, a valid E-mail address, company name, title, company address, telephone number, and other contact information (collectively “Registration Information”). Users can correct or update registration information by contacting support@dairy.com. Information Usage
Dairy.com values your patronage and respects your right to privacy. Because we are committed to protecting your privacy, personal data relating to an identified or identifiable individual which is submitted to this Site will be collected, processed, stored, and disposed of in accordance with applicable U.S. law. However, U.S. law may not provide the degree of protection to personal data which is available in other countries. The submission of personal data, or use of the Site, or use of the Services constitutes the User’s acknowledgment that he/she has read and understood this privacy policy, and agrees to its terms. Dairy.com uses personally identifiable information collected from User Representatives, such as name and E-mail address, in order to respond to User queries and inform Users of new products and services. Dairy.com may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and administer the Site. Your IP address may also be used to gather broad demographic information. Additionally, Dairy.com uses the registration information to send Users information about Dairy.com and improvements to the Site, inform Users of new products and services, and help facilitate transactions on the Trading Exchange.
Information Sharing
Dairy.com will not sell personally identifiable information to third parties without your consent, except that: (1) in the event that a majority of its ownership interests or all or substantially all of its assets are sold, Dairy.com reserves the right to include registration information and other personally identifiable information among the assets transferred to the acquirer; and (2) Dairy.com may disclose registration information included in User lists to third parties for commercial purposes. Upon registering as a User, User authorizes Dairy.com to use or share registration information and other information submitted to Dairy.com for purposes of determining eligibility for User status, including performing any necessary credit history check. Dairy.com may share non-identifying information in aggregate form with third parties without restriction. Notwithstanding other provisions of this privacy policy, we may disclose account information and registration information in special cases when we have found it necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be violating the User Agreement or may be causing injury to or interference with Dairy.com, its Users, its User Representatives, the Site or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. Dairy.com reserves the right to disclose your personal information as explicitly set forth in this privacy policy or any User Agreement agreed to by a User, or as otherwise required by government or law enforcement officials. Dairy.com can, and you hereby authorize us to, disclose any information to law enforcement or other parties that Dairy.com in its sole discretion, believes is required or appropriate in order to comply with the law. The Site is a general audience web site. We do not knowingly permit persons under the age of eighteen to use Site services. Children should always ask a parent for permission before sending personally identifiable information to anyone online. Dairy.com does not knowingly share personally identifiable information about User Representatives under the age of 13 with third parties. In addition, Dairy.com will not send any direct email offers to users who indicate they are under the age of 13.
Policy Changes
As new features are added to the Site or legal requirements change, this privacy policy may be modified. Any changes to the Dairy.com privacy policy will be posted online. By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by the Dairy.com privacy policy, including any posted changes.
